When my baby Mischa is asleep, I would sew flowers to the crochets or glue them to the nylon headbands. I feel that this would be safer & more comfortable especially for babies below 12 months to use.
Babies have a soft spot on their head up till they are about 12 to 14 months. This soft spot may close as early as nine months of age or as late as two years. As younger babies have a different way of identifying or learning things, it is also important for us to peek at our babies wearing hair accessories from time to time.
Mommy’s instinct always knows best! So mommies, you know your child better than anyone else. So when you think it’s safe, it's ok to put on those cute lil hair accessories on them. After all, they are girls…doll them up like our mommies used to do. *Winks*
