How to care for your knitted materials.

Do not machine wash.

Soak in warm water with gentle detergent for 5 to 10 minutes.
Gently rub the material together after soaking to remove the ground-in dirt and grime. Be careful not to pull the hat as this can cause stretching of the material.
Remove the hat from the water and lay it flat on one side of a clean white towel. Press down on the hat until all the dirty water has been removed.
Run the hat under cool water until the water drips clear. Place it flat on the dry side of the white towel using the same pressing motion to remove the excess water.
Lay the hat on a dry, clean towel after all the water is removed. Allow to air dry. Make sure you don't stretch it out in the process.
